Adverse Weather Arrangement
- If Typhoon Signals No. 1 is hoisted or Rainstorm Amber are announced by the Hong Kong Observatory, all classes will continue as planned.
- If Typhoon Signals No. 1 or 3 is hoisted, or Rainstorm Amber or Red Warnings are announced by the Hong Kong Observatory, all classes will continue as planned. Our staff will closely monitor the storm and rainfall patterns as indicated by the Observatory and will proactively liaise with training institutions or groups to confirm the training schedule for the current or upcoming one to two days. If necessary, we will make appropriate arrangements to reschedule training sessions for affected institutions or groups. Training institutions or organizations can also call 3103 4096 to contact our staff and discuss class arrangements in advance.
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher, a Black Rainstorm Warning, or an Extreme Weather Condition Warning is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, all classes scheduled for that day will be canceled and postponed. Our staff will promptly contact the relevant institutions to reschedule the classes. (For example, if the signal is issued in the morning, all classes scheduled for the afternoon will be canceled and postponed.)
- If a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher, or an Extreme Weather Condition Warning, is hoisted during a class session, the class will be immediately terminated, and the class will be postponed. Our staff will promptly contact the relevant institutions to reschedule the class.
- If a Black Rainstorm Warning is in effect during a class session, the class will continue unless the classroom or examination venue poses a threat to the safety of the participants.
- If training institutions or groups anticipate any weather conditions that may potentially affect the class schedule, you are welcome to proactively contact our staff in advance to discuss the matter.
